This type of energy works using the solar heat.

Important: the energy that comes from the sun has to be caught and transferred to another medium, like water or air.

It has some basic elements:
  • Collector: it collects solar radiation and heats the water that travels through a closed circuit.
  • Exchanger: it heats the water that we consume thanks to the heat caught before.
  • Accumulator: it retains the hot water.
  • Circulation pumps: they pump the water from the collector and the accumulator.


However, this type of installations needs a support system because the sun doesn't shine all day!

Advantages:
  • Its installations work more than 25 years.
  • Its maintenance is simple.
  • They help us to safeguard the planet.
